Video has perhaps caused me the most concern as to how to handle it.
I knew I wanted to keep it simple - so no crew.
It's not unknown for me to use a small Fuji compact HD camera for video - but most is with a digital SLR. Sound is usually by separate mikes and that's as complicated it gets.
Video with halfling is often just a record of the meetings and conversations - but with act4ward it's drama , monologues, the techniques behind self tapes and audition pieces and showreels.
The purpose is to concentrate on the actor and help them use the camera fully, and understand how to make their own self tapes and so on.
